Description of the role 

We are hiring a Head of Growth that oversees our growth and marketing efforts, ensuring we have an effective plan and strategy and are ready to hit our ambitious targets and goals. In addition, you will make sure the right data infrastructure is in place. It’s a pivotal time for Lexxola as we prepare to scale our global community, product categories and operations. The Head of Growth understands our audience(s) and quickly spots micro/macro opportunities to execute immediately. You’re someone that thrives on ambiguity, strategically handles uncertainty and finds comfort in A/B testing across all relevant channels. You have the opportunity to set the strategy across all channels and markets + work with the executive team to make it happen. 

Reporting to the CEO and Head of Operations, you’re central to the Marketing and Product team. You have an entrepreneurial spirit + big ambitions to drive the company forward with your relentless curiosity and work ethic. You bring good energy + organisation + passion for the brand and team.

Key responsibilities 

Define 

Strategy; build and communicate a comprehensive growth marketing plan to help the business achieve its revenue goals. Launch new (relevant) channels and and when they emerge. 

Research; analyse our current acquisition and retention strategies and research competitors and our community to help inform the strategy. Highlight opportunities, and execute the plan with micro/macro priorities. 

Execute 

Collaborate with the Marketing and Product team to maintain flow, consistency and targeted performance where needed. Introduce performative initiatives across both teams.

Customer Acquisition; take ownership of our customer acquisition channels - paid aids, display ads, SEO, affiliate marketing and influencer marketing. 

Manage performance marketing initiatives and ensure consistent marketing targeting our audience across relevant channels. 

Customer Conversion; own and improve how we convert our prospects into customers. Working closely with the Marketing and Product team, you identify, test and execute ideas focused on messaging, pricing and user experience. 

Optimise 

Analyse and Manage tactics to optimise (paid/owned/earned) acquisition cross-channel KPIs, including CPC, conversion rates, ROAS to achieve revenue and performance goals

Customer Retention; collaborate with CX to ensure our community gets to the ‘aha’ moment quicker, churn is kept low, and LTV is increased.

Work with the Creative and Copy team to advise creatives and to copywriting improvements based on findings and relevance. Set up robust reporting and automation to improve operational efficiency.

About you

5-7 years experience, ideally with a proven track record of high-growth start-ups/scale-ups

Obsessed with data

Execution oriented, organised, ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment

About You

We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic and driven individual, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. We work collaboratively on many projects so it is essential to be a proactive self-starter who is ambitious about the future. In addition to this, working independently and being able to improvise in new situations is imperative to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the company. 

Responsibilities will include; conceptualising and creating engaging content for TikTok,  coordinating and assisting on shoots and posting and upkeep on all our social media channels (TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest). We need a creative mindset that is brimming with ideas on how to engage with our global community, in the Lexxola tone of voice. Confidence is key, you’ll be the face of our TikTok and a strong communicator. 

We’d like you to have a minimum of two years work experience, preferably within a startup or another ecommerce brand. Being part of a small team in a fast-growing company requires a strong, proactive work ethic - rewarded with quick growth opportunities and a competitive salary.
